"Retrograde Amnesia" is an edited version of a medical record in which only the last dated page can be read. All information concerning the patient have been removed except "Pat går ad mortem 94 01 02".

The work can also be seen as a measure of time. If you look at the medical record in profile you can see the rest of the pages form a schematic representation of the disease duration.
