A Brief History of Time

The sculptures A Brief History of Time are part of a series of works in which I have been working with the existential cycle of life – transience – death in my parents’ nursery-garden. By using building fragments as readymades, the process is halted, time has stopped, so that objects that were once in disrepair now have resurfaced in a new, permanent (and for the garden) foreign context.
